A limited company is an excellent way to ensure that liability for any debt stays with the business and doesn’t affect your own situation.

Using a limited company to run your business can also be very tax-efficient.

However alongside the benefits of running a company there are some responsibilities.

Directors need to ensure that they comply with Companies House requirements around filing accounts, change of directors and confirmation statements.

For major decision it is important to have documented board minutes to show that they were taken legally.

Non VAT registered?

Larger companies that have a turnover of £85,000 or more need to be VAT registered, but if your company doesn’t achieve that level of income then you don’t need the hassle of having to comply with VAT regulations as well!

We enjoy working with smaller businesses and we aim to make sure that you can get on with your day job and leave the rules and regulations to us.

We’ll make sure that major deadlines such as your filing date for annual accounts are adhered to and we’ll make sure you are up to speed on any upcoming legislation changes.

If you need someone to attend board meetings then this is no problem and of course you’ll need minutes drafting and we can again oblige.

Your outsourced Finance Department

How helpful would it be if you could just pick up the phone and get an answer to your finance questions?

That’s the aim of our limited company service – to give you a totally outsourced finance department that looks after your interests so that you can continue with the day job.

We’ll work with you to set up your Xero accounting system, get your accounts up to date and put in place methods that will allow you to easily forward information to us when it arrives.

You can even tell you suppliers to send the invoices direct to to us and we’ll do the rest.

For our smaller Limited company clients we have put together some pricing packages that we feel are very competitive, but don’t worry if what you see isn’t listed, simply give us a call and let’s see what we can do.

Bronze – Accurate day-to-day bookkeeping and reconciliation of all bank/credit card/cash transactions (cloud-based accounting software XERO – included within price) – £120.00pm

Silver – Everything in Bronze, plus unlimited email/telephone support, monthly adjustments for accruals/ prepayments/ depreciation/ amortisation, and payroll (up to 5 people) – £140.00pm

Gold – Everything in Silver, plus completion and filing of Confirmation Statements, Statutory Accounts, Corporation Tax Return, plus Self-Assessment Tax Return for up to 2 Directors – £170.00pm
